New York City’s destination marketing organization is taking a page from popular “restaurant week” campaigns, launching the first NYC Hotel Week on Jan. 4.
NYC & Company said some 110 New York hotels are offering a 22% discount on standard room rates. Participating hotels include The Beekman, Lotte New York Palace, The Pierre, The Langham, the Opera House Hotel in the Bronx, the Hilton Garden Inn New York/Staten Island; the Rockaway Hotel in Queens and The William Vale in Brooklyn.
The promotion will run through Feb. 13.
NYC Hotel Week kicks off NYC & Company’s annual citywide deals program, NYC Winter Outing, which includes NYC Restaurant Week, NYC Broadway Week, and NYC Must-See Week, and runs from Jan. 18 through Feb. 13. Bookings for the other three programs will open to the public on Jan. 11.
On Dec. 31, Fred Dixon was reappointed CEO Of NYC & Company by New York’s new mayor, Eric Adams. Dixon, who has been head of the city’s tourism marketing organization since 2014, said he will work to “accelerate New York City’s tourism recovery.”
