The epic cruise will wow travellers with 51 stops in 29 countries, across six continents.

Cruisers can pick from two roundtrip options, the first departing from Fort Lauderdale on January 5 2022, and the second departing from Los Angeles on January 9 2022.

Ports of call include the Panama Canal, Bermuda, Puntarenas (Costa Rica), Barcelona, Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens, Suez Canal, Singapore, Bali, Fiordland National Park, Pago Pago, and two stops in Hawaii.

The experience will also include two late calls at destinations such as Malta, Genoa, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Auckland and Mykonos.

Cruise fares range in price depending on the type of cabin selected, as well as any additional, luxurious extras holidaymakers might wish to indulge in.

Prices range from £16,850 ($20,999) per person for an inside cabin to £46,540 ($57,999) per person for a suite.

Balcony cabins start at £24,072 ($29,999) per person.

Guests who book by November 30, 2020, are being offered onboard credits totalling roughly £802 ($1,000) plus speciality dining extras.

Similarly, travellers who have frequented Princess Cruises before will receive a saving of approximately £802 ($1,000) per person if they book by the same deadline.

For now, Princess Cruises has halted operations amid the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Holidays summer 2020: Where can you go on holiday?

The cruise line has indicated that it will be restarting cruise holidays from Autumn 2020.

All holidays prior to this have been cancelled, and customers are automatically being issued with a “default compensation offer” relating to their specific cruise.

Affected routes include Alaskan cruise tours, as well as those spanning Europe, New England and Canada, Asia, Australia, Hawaii and French Polynesia.

In recent months cruise lines have been heavily impacted by the pandemic, with several cruise ships being thrust into the limelight over cases of the virus onboard.

Since then the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a no-sail ban.

Despite this, cruise lovers have said they will not be put off going on future cruises.

A survey by Cruise Critic found that 92 percent of cruise enthusiasts said they would be keen to get back on board as soon as the pandemic had passed.

Of those asked, 75 percent of respondents said they would cruise “as much as” or “even more” once sailings resume.

Just 8 percent said the virus had put them off the idea of cruises.
