Sandi Harding, the manager of the world’s last Blockbuster store, has listed the Bend, Oregon, store on Airbnb, offering movie lovers of a certain age the chance to relive a nostalgic, pre-Netflix summer sleepover.
“When you call dibs on this stay, you’re booking a night back in the ’90s, but this time you won’t have to beg your parents to rent the latest horror flick – we’ll give you the keys to the entire store!” Harding, who will be acting as the host, wrote in her Airbnb listing.
She adds that she hopes to offer a sense of community amid the pandemic by opening the store to three quarantine pods for a socially-distanced movie night.
