But when she goes to other countries, she makes a particular effort.
Kate is always sure to honour the destination she is visiting when it comes to her clothes.
In her most recent royal visit to Ireland, Kate wore a structured green coat over a green floral colour – the colour of Ireland.
The mother-of-three also wears designers that are from the country she is visiting in homage to the culture.
For instance, during the Ireland visit, Kate donned a Dubarry of Ireland utility jacket.
When the Duchess visited Pakistan in 2019, upon arrival, she wore the aqua blue shalwar kameez-inspired dress, which is a traditional style for Pakistani women.
Meghan has also been sure to nod to the country hosting her through her fashion choices.
In 2019, she and Harry visited South Africa, Malawi, Angola and Botswana.

During the trip, for instance, Meghan was seen wearing a pair of earrings from African jeweller Nina Bosch as well as a dress by Malawi-based brand Mayamiko.
On her final day, Meghan selected a white Tencel shirt dress from Cape Town-founded label Hannah Lave.
Kate also influenced Meghan in a number of other ways when it comes to learning the ways of the Royal Family when travelling.
Meghan has been seen with some very beautiful clutch bags when at royal events.
The trend is also used by the Duchess of Cambridge.
It is a clever way to avoid any award introductions or meetings.
Etiquette expert Myka Meier told Good Housekeeping that it can be held in “both hands when shaking hands might be awkward”.
