Holidays have been effectively off the cards for a lot of Britons this year since the coronavirus pandemic began. Many have either shelved their holiday plans for another time or are uncomfortable with the prospect of travelling abroad. But for those looking to book something well in advance, TUI might have what you’re looking for.
The largest leisure, travel and tourism company in the world is planning to launch their winter 2021/22 and summer 2022 programme early.
TUI is planning on putting its summer 2022 holidays on sale from November 5.
The offers will include thousands of free places for children and low or no deposits.
According to a survey the company hosted in September, 86 percent of customers said they expect to have gone on holiday by next summer.
Britons have had to be mindful when booking their winter sun holidays this year that the UK has a travel corridor list in place.
Countries not included on that list require Britons to isolate on their return for 14 days.
For summer 2022, TUI will be offering travellers the chance to visit 62 destinations from 16 airports in the UK.
Teeside airport will be added back to their operations in 2022 for the first time since 2013.

Mediterranean beach holidays are looking like the most popular option for summer 2021 with 57 percent saying that’s what they will be booking.
The survey was based on 4,000 TUI customers being asked how they feel about travel after COVID-19.
According to TUI, 2022 is looking like it could be more popular as people make up for the fact they could not travel abroad this year.
Destinations such as Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Portugal, Italy and Florida will be included for summer 2022.
The company is expecting Florida to make a come back after missing out on a break there this year.
TUI said many families moved their breaks to Florida from this year to 2021, with 40 percent of holidays to this destination already sold.
Families typically book their Florida holiday far ahead, so placing summer 2022 on sale now will help customers make plans.
Fourteen-night holidays to Florida are available from £1,435 per person based on two adults sharing and departing in June 2022.
Richard Sofer, commercial and business development director at TUI, said: “Our latest customer survey and booking patterns for next summer indicate that the great British public are looking forward to future holidays even more so as they may have been unable to take one this year.
“This is why we have launched our future holiday programmes through to the end of October 2022, so that families and couples alike can plan ahead to next year and beyond to make informed choices about what will make their perfect holiday from the wide range we have on offer.”
Britons are being urged to check entry requirements and restrictons before travelling overseas.
