Wowcher then gets in touch several weeks later to reveal the destination they&#8217;ll be holidaying in and the details of their trip.\u00a0<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The trip ended up costing &#8216;quite a bit extra&#8217; as they wanted to fly from an airport in Northern England and hoped to travel in July or August &#8211; specifications that incur added fees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/14\/76706623-12644427-image-a-37_1697634924190.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Becky Chorlton shared an &#8216;honest review&#8217; of her experience booking a \u00a3129 Wowcher mystery holiday to Prague\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/14\/76706627-12644427-The_couple_were_sent_to_the_picturesque_Prague_but_they_were_put-a-38_1697634931864.jpg\" height=\"399\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Becky and her boyfriend spent\u00a0\u00a3568 in total on their holiday in the Czech capital\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sharing more on the experience in a blog post on lifestyle app Lemon8, Becky explained that it cost them \u00a3129 per person to travel in peak season, as well as a \u00a310 admin fee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Becky wrote: &#8216;We received a phone call from somebody from Wowcher giving us our location for the holiday.\u00a0They had no beach trips left so we were definitely going to a city. At first, they mentioned a few different locations, including Denmark&#8230; and then they asked if we wanted to go to Prague.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The couple agreed to a trip to Prague, but pushed for three nights in the Czech capital after originally being offered two.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wowcher offered them flights from London, but as the couple wanted to fly from Manchester, they were forced to fork out extra. Becky explained: &#8216;To fly from Manchester cost us an additional \u00a3130 per person, which was super expensive.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The pair flew with Ryanair and spent three nights in Prague in a hotel. While Becky described the hotel room as &#8216;nice&#8217; and noted that it had its own balcony, she said it was situated 20 minutes outside the city centre and was &#8216;more of a hostel than a hotel&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/14\/76706649-12644427-image-a-39_1697634940004.jpg\" height=\"303\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/14\/76706647-12644427-image-a-40_1697634945348.jpg\" height=\"303\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>It was more expensive for the couple to travel in peak season, Becky revealed.\u00a0Wowcher offered the couple flights from London, but as they wanted to fly from Manchester, they were forced to fork out extra for their flights\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/14\/76706635-12644427-Becky_said_they_both_had_to_pay_an_additional_fee_as_they_wanted-a-41_1697634952260.jpg\" height=\"572\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The pair flew with Ryanair and spent three nights in Prague in a hotel\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Explaining where they spent further money, Becky told MailOnline: &#8216;The holiday was also self-catering and didn&#8217;t include transfers to and from the airport, which we were aware of when booking.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The popular video has received over 20,000 views and attracted a number of outraged commenters.\u00a0One wrote: &#8216;I&#8217;m sorry but that&#8217;s my worst nightmare staying in a hotel like that.&#8217;\u00a0Another said: &#8216;Oh no, you could have got way cheaper and nicer in Prague for that money!&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, some recounted their own experiences of Wowcher&#8217;s mystery holidays. However, she said: &#8216;I do feel that if we booked the holiday to Prague ourselves we could&#8217;ve got a lot more for our money.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While Becky said she would be &#8216;hesitant&#8217;
