This beautiful city is the perfect destination to visit if you are looking for some winter sun this festive season, with temperatures reaching 21C in December.
Agadir in Morocco is said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the country, with six miles of seafront offering endless opportunities to sunbathe on the beach.
The city has one of the finest beaches in Morocco – Taghazout – which also doubles up as a fishing village.
Thanks to the endless beach opportunities, the destination is ideal for those looking to take part in water sports, with more than 15 surf spots.

TUI described Algadir as Morocco’s “premier holiday destination” that is extremely popular with surfers.
Agadir has gone through a regeneration having been destroyed by an earthquake back in the 1960s. Officials decided to start from scratch, with the city now home to palm-lined avenues, numerous cafes and restaurants and beautiful parkland.
In the centre, you’ll find endless shopping opportunities, as well as the chance to try some of their best local products including argan oil and amlou.
The village of Taghazout is particularly popular with British tourists, pinpointed as the best surfing point for those looking to catch the waves and is just a 30 minute drive from the city centre.

The future plans for the city are said to be much grander, with a strip of new hotels on the cards.
It also makes an ideal base for those looking to explore the blue pools of Paradise Valley and the waterfalls at Imouzzer which are both under an hour and a half drive away.
A number of hotels offer all inclusive deals, including the Riu Tikida Dunas and Riu Palace Tikida Taghazout.
In December, there are a number of offers starting from as little as £359 per person for an all inclusive package.
