Local street food and regional beers
In keeping with the popular and convivial spirit of the Braderie, the hotel team is featuring two emblematic recipes from the North of France revisited in a street food version: a taco of Flemish carbonnade (the signature dish of our chef Jayson Clément, who has decided to revisit it in a more casual version), renamed "street carbonnade" for the occasion & a croquette of grey shrimp. All served with a pint of local beer for €10.
A DJ set... from room 210
The surprise of this year's event will also come from the music. On Saturday afternoon, Lille DJ Pim Fumery will set up his turntables... in room 210 of the hotel, with a balcony overlooking Rue du Molinel. A totally new set, at the crossroads of the hotel's intimate universe and the energy of the Braderie.

Rediscovering a heritage building
But this weekend is also an opportunity for the people of Lille to (re)discover an emblematic building. L'Oceania Les Augustins occupies the former headquarters of the Scalbert Dupont bank, a historic building that has left its mark on the city's history. After being closed for several years, it has been completely refurbished and transformed into a hotel, in keeping with its heritage identity. Exposed stonework, majestic volumes, preserved details...
Throughout the Braderie, hotel staff will be on hand to welcome visitors. Those who wish will be able to push open the doors of Les Augustins, chat with the team and enjoy a convivial visit. It's an opportunity to go behind the scenes of this transformation and learn a little more about the history of the building.
And because the Braderie de Lille can sometimes be intense and dizzying, this interlude in the heart of the hotel is also a privileged moment. Guests can take a breather, enjoy a timeless break and even take advantage of our "Le Refuge" space.
